What originally drew you to sponsor Edmonton CREW?
ONE Properties values the opportunities Edmonton CREW provides to promote and support inclusivity in the real estate industry with networking events, educational functions, and more. We now have seven employees from ONE Properties as Edmonton CREW members (of various positions, backgrounds and tenure) and we look forward to attending events and volunteering! We can't wait for this year's retreat in Kelowna!
Tell us about a project, program, or initiative that your company will be working on in 2023.
ONE Properties launched Citizen on Jasper, a mixed-use development in partnership with IG Mackenzie Real Property Fund. Check out www.CitizenOnJasper.com for photos and floors plan for central Edmonton’s newest high-rise rental community near 124 Street.
We’ll also be starting construction on two new industrial properties at 41 Business Park in Nisku with our partner, Vestcor.
In addition, ONE Properties is a Keynote Sponsor at BOMEX taking place in Edmonton this year.
ICE District Properties (a joint venture between Katz Group and ONE Properties) welcomes new tenants to Connect Centre — Loblaws City Market, The Canadian Icehouse, The Banquet, the Official Oilers Team Store, National Bank, Real Canadian Liquor Store, and Plantlife.
Tell us about events or programs you have to encourage employees to build relationships in the workplace.
ONE Properties has Social Committees to organize fun opportunities for colleagues to connect and engage through monthly events such as employee celebrations (celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries, new team members while enjoying dessert & playing bingo to win prizes like tenant gift cards), steps challenges, trivia, potlucks, and more!
ONE Properties introduced an internal recognition program called the Spirit Awards that provide opportunities for employees to recognize each other for going above & beyond through a nomination process across various individual and team award categories.
